Breville 876 Quick Guide

STANDBY mode is when you can start the extraction.

Reset Grinder Dosing Time (recommended after changing bean)

• On STANDBY mode
• Hold MANUAL DOSE + FILTER for 3 seconds
• Beep
• On STANDBY mode

Auto Extraction

• On STANDBY mode
• Press 1 CUP or 2 CUP to start extraction
• After the memorized extraction time the extraction will stop
• On STANDBY mode

Manual Extraction

• On STANDBY mode
• Hold 1 CUP or 2 CUP to pre-infusion
• Release the button to start extraction
• Press the same button again to stop
• On STANDBY mode

Adjust Extraction Time

• On STANDBY mode
• Hold 1 CUP + 2 CUP for 3 seconds
• Press 1 CUP or 2 CUP to start extraction
• Press the same button to stop extraction
• Extraction time will be memorized
• On STANDBY mode

Reset Extraction Time

• On STANDBY mode
• Hold FILTER + 1 CUP + 2 CUP for 3 seconds
• Beep 3 times
• On STANDBY mode

Adjust Water Temperature

• TURN OFF
• Hold FILTER + 1 CUP + 2 CUP, and then POWER, until beep
• Press any button within 5 seconds:
  • default + 2℃: POWER
  • default + 1℃: 2 CUP
  • default: 1 CUP
  • default - 1℃: MANUAL DOSE
  • default - 2℃: DOSE
• Beep twice
• On STANDBY mode

Clean (when red light flashing)

• Insert portafilter + 1 cup filter + cleaning disc + cleaning tablet
• While tablet not fully dissolved (about 2 times)
  • TURN OFF
  • Hold 1 CUP + 2 CUP + POWER for 3 seconds
• Remove cleaning disc and insert portafilter back
• Press 2 CUP a few times for finishing
• On STANDBY mode

Descale (when red light solid)

• Dissolve descaling powder with 1L water and fill the water tank
• TURN OFF
• Hold 2 CUP + POWER for 5 seconds
• While water tank not empty (about 2 times)
  • Press 2 CUP to descale coffee component
  • Dial to STEAM to descale steam component
  • Dail to HOT WATER to descale hot water component
• Clean the water tank and fill with 2L fresh cold water
  • Repeat steps above for finishing
• TURN OFF
